   啊，那个“爨”字我看半天了，越看越觉得眼熟，就是死活想不起是谁的字啊。忽然往旁边一瞄，瞄见“再春题”三个字，喔——知道了，是杨再春老师的字呢。

   杨老的字还行，就拿这个“爨”字来说吧。字体是正揩，笔画中却透露隶书的风格， 尤其是横、撇、捺这些笔画。一看就知道，他的楷书和隶书都写得不错，而且看来他似乎是想把楷、隶融成一体。

   It’s hard to be certain from the small image, but it appears that the calligrapher only wrote 爨底下 and then the engravers copied the 爨 for the larger character up top.

   Also, I wonder how the locals write the name of their village – if there’s a commonly used substitute.

   我想当地人会写的“爨”字，也不会在写本村名字的时候用别的字去代替这个“爨”字。可能“爨”字对外国朋友来说确实是那种看着就要晕的字了，但它的笔画和结构在汉字中不算是最复杂的，所以对于我们中国人来说——还好啦，呵呵。

   不过，现在除了一些冷僻的词语（如分爨，即：分家）、地名（如：爨底下）外，一般人都说“灶”而不说“爨”了。

   啊，明白了，原来那些仃车早歺牌子都是老外写的。

   我的原话是说，可能“爨”字的笔画比较多，可能对外国朋友来说难了点。——当然啦，向zhwj你这样的水平，当然不会晕啦！（怎么样啊，zhwj，千穿万穿，我给你拍的马屁，总不会穿吧？呵呵！:-P）

   “仃(ding1)车早歺(dai3)”？——呵呵，真真这zhwj，说出一句话来，比人家林妹妹还尖呢！:-P
